Our dehydrated sourdough starter. We use this starter ( ours is named Darla ) almost every single day on the farm. It has given us many loaves of warm bread, delicious cinnamon rolls, fluffy pancakes and pretty much anything else we think of. This starter has traveled all over the world in the hands of military wives we met along our 20 year journey in the Marine Corps. When we finally landed on the farm, we thought we had to keep sharing what we loved and started dehydrating our active starter and shipping it out. Comes with 2 tablespoons of starter, enough to rehydrate twice, plus directions on how to get started and how to make your very first loaf of homemade sourdough bread. We hope you love your starter as much as we do.
